Special Paint en Showtrucks

De Special Paint-trucks en de Showtrucks zijn twee van onze speciale categorieën tijdens het Truckstar Festival. Vanuit heel Europa komen de mooiste trucks naar Assen!

The Special Paint trucks and Show Trucks are two of our special categories at Truckstar Festival. The most immaculate and best looking show trucks from all over Europa converge at Assen!

Voor de show en de verkiezing

Natuurlijk komen ze er voor de show en om door de duizenden festival-bezoekers bewonderd te worden op de paddock. Maar deze trucks doen ook mee aan de Special Paint- en Showtruck-verkiezingen. Die zijn ieder jaar zeer spannend. Het winnen van een prijs is prestigieus en ook zwaarwegend in de Europese Special Paint en Showtruck-wereld. Uiteraard is dit ook een kroon op het werk van de winnende chauffeurs.

For the show and contests

Obviously these trucks are here to be part of the show and to be admired by the festival’s many thousands of visitors. However, these trucks also participate in the Special Paint and Show Truck contests. Each year these are very closely fought and tense battles. The prizes from Assen are considered to be important and influential in the European show truck scenes. In addition, to the participating drivers, winning a prize is the icing on the cake of ‘being part of Assen’ and a well-deserved recognition of the many hours of hard labour that have gone into making the truck stand out from the rest.

Deelprijzen

Daarnaast worden er deelprijzen uitgereikt voor het interieur en de opbouw.

Tevens worden uitgereikt: de Best of Show-prijs, de Poetsprijs en de Far Far Away-prijs voor de truck die het hoogst aantal kilometers heeft afgelegd om in Assen te staan.

Side prizes

Additionally a number of side prizes is awarded: The Best of Show prize for the overall winner of both the Special Paint and Show Trucks categories, the Polish and Shine prize and the Far Far Away prize for the participant who made the longest journey to be at Assen.
